Barbora Hrínová

Barbora Hrínová (1984) was born and lives in Bratislava. She writes prose, screenplays, and teaches at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava. She is a three-time finalist in the Short Story competition. She has completed research stays in Georgia and the USA. She collaborates with radio and television as an author. She made her debut with the collection of short stories Jednorožce (Aspekt, 2020), which has been published in six languages so far. The book won the René Gymnazistvo Award and the prestigious Anasoft Litera 2021 Award.
